After a fantastic evening of lacrosse through out the region we have 
the final results in from our featured game which was in Kitchener where 
our fearless THISTLES were out for blood against their arch rivals the 
Kitchener Shamrocks.  
The game was intense, with end to end action. At the end of the first
period it was the Shamrock out front 4-1, but our never say die Thistles
weren't about to wilt up and croak like they had just been blasted with
illegal killex.
The Thistles started the second period short handed but with a fantastic
pass out of the corner by Aidan BOOM BOOM Kelly to his pal Austin 
the Animal we were right back in this one. The Shamrock came right back
down the floor and scored again to make it 5-2. Soon we found ourselves
in penalty trouble but wouldn't you know it with another bone crushing hit,
Aidan BOOM BOOM Kelly stole the ball and with a flash passed it up the 
floor to Zach ATTACK to make it 5-3.  We added another before the end
of the second to go to the break 5-4 in favor of the home team. 
At the start of the third The Shamrock came hard and made it 6-4. At the 
next face off Aidan BOOM BOOM Kelly won the draw took the ball down 
and scored now 6-5.  The very next face off he did the exact same thing to 
tie the game at 6.  With just over 3 minutes left we went up by a goal to make
it 7-6 for the good guys.  But with a couple Crappy calls by the refs, who were 
clearly in favor of the Shams they scored 2 goals to make it 8-7.
(Drama)  Eleven seconds left in the game  Aidan BOOM BOOM Kelly  wins the
draw and ties the game with 2 seconds left on the clock.  The final tonite was 8-8. 
The PLAYER OF THE GAME was AIDAN BOOM BOOM KELLY with 3 goals 2 
assists and 8 for 10 in face offs.
