(Erin Twp, ON.) – On Friday September 18th, 2009 at about 7:11pm County of Wellington OPP investigated the driver of a 2002 Toyota pickup found travelling on Wellington Road 24 of Erin Twp. Police spoke to the driver and found he had been drinking.
Hans Devaal aged 59 of Erin Twp has been charged with Impaired Driving and Over 80 mgs under the Criminal Code of Canada as well as Drive with Liquor Readily Available under the Liquor Licence Act. Devaal is scheduled to appear in Guelph court on November 9th, 2009 to answer to the charges.
(Fergus, ON.) – On Friday September 18th, 2009 at about 10:45pm County of Wellington OPP investigated the driver of a 1998 Ford Winstar Van found travelling on Belsyde Ave in Fergus. Police spoke to the driver and found he had been drinking. The driver was administered a Roadside Screening Device test which resulted in a fail.
John Adam Pappin aged 18 of Guelph has been charged with Over 80 mgs and four counts of Fail to Comply With Undertaking under the Criminal Code of Canada as well as Drive with Liquor Readily Available under the Liquor Licence Act and G2 Licence Holder-BAC above Zero under the Highway Traffic Act. Pappin is scheduled to appear in Guelph court on October 26th, 2009 to answer to the charges. |
