(Fergus, ON.) – On Monday September 21st, 2009 at about 10:20am County of Wellington OPP officers responded to a domestic disturbance at a home in Fergus.
Officers spoke to the female of the home who reported an altercation with her common-law husband earlier in the day. At this time she was pushed down, choked and threatened. The victim indicated that the violence had occurred on other occasions.
County of Wellington OPP have charged a 40 year old Fergus man with two counts of Assault and three counts of Uttering Threats under the Criminal Code of Canada. The accused is currently in custody and will be attending Guelph court on September 22nd, 2009 for a Bail Hearing. |
